Day 43: Cooking for Weight Loss

Yesterday, I woke up and weighed myself. Weight is: 82.8Kg. Yesterday I consumed 121 calories below my BMR and did 246 calories of exercise above my BMR. Total deficit is 367 calories.


Today, I woke up and weighed myself. Weight is: 82.0Kg. Yesterday I consumed 27 calories over my BMR and did 173 calories of exercise above my BMR. Total deficit is 146 calories.


Sometimes I miss posting a day because I get busy with other stuff and forget. Yesterday was one of those.


Cooking for yourself while losing weight is very important. This is mainly so that you know exactly what is in the food. Many restaurants are unable to tell you the number of calories or the macro-nutrients in the meal. The restaurants that do provide nutritional guides tend to be fast food which would be food sources you would not want to eat from while trying to lose weight, so don’t worry about them.


Cooking for yourself allows you to control all the variables. You can adjust ingredients how you want to reduce calories or change flavour to suit your needs. You can also define the amount of food you cook and dictate to yourself the amount of food you put on the plate. All things that are important for weight loss.
