Day 39: Vision Statement

Today, I woke up and weighed myself. Weight is: 82.8Kg. Yesterday I consumed 66 calories above my BMR and did 175 calories of exercise above my BMR. Total deficit is 109 calories.

If you really want to stick with something and have the conviction to follow through and do what needs to be done, you need to have a really good reason for doing it. A Vision Statement provides that. A Vision Statement will be concise, clear, define a time horizon, be future-oriented, offer a long-term perspective, be challenging, encompass all your goals, and be inspiring.

Change is what we are looking for, and change can cause us to lose focus on what we are doing. When we are lost in the weeds of change, a Vision Statement allows us to focus on a potential future. A Vision statement provides purpose for our actions. That purpose creates focus. A Vision Statement provides inspiration and a roadmap.
