Day 28: Personal Introspection

Today, I woke up and weighed myself. Weight is: 83.8Kg. Yesterday I consumed 175 calories below my BMR and did 337 calories of exercise above my BMR. Total deficit is 422 calories.


Do you know what your personality type is? Have you ever sat down and decided what you want your life to look like? Have you ever thought about what it means to be true to yourself? I’m not talking about what other people see, I’m talking about what you know about yourself. Knowing yourself allows you to be objective about the things you do and the ways you act.


There are several ways to do this. One is to start with vision and mission statements. Periodically revisit these and rewrite them as needed. Eventually, those statements should reflect who you are. Next, you can take some personality tests. There are two dominant tests, with each providing different types of information. The first one is DiSC, and the second one is the Meyers&Briggs.


What motivates you and keeps you focused is dependant on your personality type, so you need to understand yourself to know the best way to motivate yourself.
