Day 23: Adding Too Much

Today, I woke up and weighed myself. Weight is: 83.6Kg. Yesterday I consumed 314 calories below my BMR and did 221 calories of exercise above my BMR. Total deficit is 535 calories.


One thing about adding habits: Trying to add too many new habits at once will be difficult, maybe even overwhelming. People do not like change. Change creates anxiety and uneasiness. 10,000 generations ago, change meant danger. It is best and easiest to add one or two new habits to your routine at a time.


So, if you found that you had a difficult time adding your new habits into your routine or adjusting old habits, there is a good chance you tried to do too much, so consider your list of habits, and pull out some of the harder ones, and postpone implementation for a few weeks.
